anti-terrorism court in Lahore acquitted Muslim League (N) leaders Maryam
Aurangzeb and Mian Javed Latif, among others, in the case of inflammatory
speech.
Judge
Muhammad Naveed Iqbal of the Anti-Terrorism Court gave a reserved verdict on
the pleas of acquittal.
Maryam
Aurangzeb's lawyer took the stand that the name of the channel was not even
mentioned in the case, nor was there any witness in the case, the case was
registered on political grounds after a delay of 5 days.
